IS YOUR BAKERY ENTIRELY GF?

Yes! We are a gluten free, celiac safe bakery! That being said, our bakery is not free of all allergens. A majority of our baked goods contain certified gluten free oat flour. Please inquire directly via email for questions or concerns about a specific allergy.


WHY ARE YOU ONLY OPEN 3 DAYS A WEEK?

Our team works 6 days a week at our bakery, but we are only open to the public Thursday to Saturday – why? We spend Monday to Thursday preparing wholesale orders, which are actually a majority of our business! We love being a reliable source of delicious gluten free baked goods for local cafes (you can find a list of vendors here.) Due to this, we currently only have the capacity to prepare additional baked goods three days a week. On Thursdays and Fridays we serve our core items: a variety of muffins, snacking cake, cookies, brownies, pop tarts, hand pies, and scones. On Saturdays we prepare our core items as well as a wider selection of sweets and desserts, including cinnamon buns. These options and flavours change weekly based on what produce is seasonally available!


do you take pre-orders?

At this time we only take orders for cakes (Saturdays only), catering requests, and holidays. Our bakery items are available on a first come, first served basis. When available, holiday menus will be posted on our website, our Facebook page, and our Instagram. Cake orders and catering inquiries can be sent to hello@helmbaked.com.


WHAT ALLERGENS CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?

Although our bakery is GLUTEN FREE – that does not mean our bakery is free of every allergen a person can have! A majority of our baked goods are made with a certified gluten free oat flour. We offer a variety of dairy free items on a daily basis in-store. We occasionally prepare vegan baked goods. Our bakery uses a variety of nuts (peanuts, pistachios, pecans, walnuts, sesame seeds, almonds, hazelnuts, etc.) There are traces of corn in almost everything we bake – corn starch can be found in our baking powder and icing sugar. We do not offer any keto or sugar free baked goods. We do not offer any items guaranteed free of guar gum. Please inquire via email for information on a specific ingredient.


WHAT KIND OF ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE IN STORE?

Baked goods prepared in store vary each week depending on what is seasonally available to us! We try to source local ingredients wherever possible. On Thursdays & Fridays we carry a variety of cookies (such as: Brown Butter Chocolate Chip, Salty Dulcey, Rainbow Crunch, Dood’s Delights, Ginger Molasses (DF), Cowboy Cookies (VEGAN), Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies, Just Peanut, White Chocolate Matcha – $3.50-$3.75), loaf slices and muffins (DF options always available – $3.50), brownies and squares (DF options always available – $3-$4), scones (sweet and savoury – $4-$5), pop tarts ($5), hand pies ($5). On Saturdays we also carry fresh from the oven Cinnamon Buns ($8), and a variety of desserts ($3-$10)
